Sendang Biru Beach

Sendang Biru Beach is located 69 km to the south of the city of Malang. To visit the beach we must pass Turen , then Sumbermanjing Wetan. It is located in the district of Sumbermanjing Wetan. Sendang biru Beach is better known as a place of landing and auctioning fish Malang.
   The beach is faced with Sempu Island. The distance only separated by a narrow strait. The distance between beach and  Sempu Island is very suitable for boating or other water sports beach. On 7 or 8 Shawwal, many people ride the boat to the  Sempu Island to take fresh water there. According to belief, efficacious Sempu freshwater island is good for health or healing disease. In addition,  in Sempu island you can see the lake where the water comes from another squirt of water that enter through a hole big rock, the lake is called "Segoro puppies" ”segoro anakan” or the son of ocean.
It is called Sendang Biru because this beach is the source of water. In the Java language  means "spring" that is blue.
